The intervention explores the Italian digital interoperability ecosystem, with a specific focus on the reusability of solutions and the use of semantic APIs. The National Digital Data Platform (PDND) and the Schema Editor tool will be presented, two pillars for the development and sharing of efficient digital services among Public Administrations. In support of the theoretical concepts, a concrete use case of the National Institute of Social Security (INPS) will be analysed, illustrating the application of these methodologies.

The talk focuses on artificial intelligence and, in particular, how semantic interoperability can support generative AI by making it more reliable and consistent and reducing errors and ambiguities.
